David Eugene Edwards' delivers an album of grandiose, dark, impassioned, bizarre, fiery, soundscapes, and as "The Holy Measure" makes clear, this is amazingly a guy who is into Jesus as much for the drama as the salvation,. That is the kind of faith it's hard not to appreciate. Best album utilizing the word "reshapeth" of the year!
