The Marchenor Library by A. Degan

(Secret Acres, 2020) I don't now about your attention span, but the idea of fifty thrillingly designed stories about a sexy adventurer and her complex, convoluted, naughty-yet-chaste, danger-laden, stylish, thrilling adventures being reduced to just a book cover and one page teaser for each tale is totally satisfying. If there were even one iota more of Marchenoir in the Masked Menagerie or Marchenoir and the Revival of the Machine Devil I might lose interest. As it is, the ravishing bunny-eared romantic, her sly sisters, and their pals and villains (including Kid Misery, Doctor Ximple, and the crime beast Rubber Shroud) inhabit my favorite binge of the decade.
