The Manic Low "Songs for an Up Day"

(Moonlight Graham) Should be called The Manic Quin, because this exercise in punk gone pop (infamous L.A punk rock legends/veterans Jack Grisham and Paul Roessler, along with with Joykiller's Sean Greaves,  go poppy, new wavey, garage rocky, and Smiths-ish) is as awesome as an articulated dressform doll turning into a living, breathing (young) Kim Cattrell, and hopping on your motorcycle (though every song on here, especially "I'm Free" and "Some Girls Own Me," is better than Starship's "Nothing's Ginna Stop Me Now" from the Mannequin original soundtrack).
